Extended Day Program
A St. Francis education begins in the classroom; however, we believe that many of life's most valuable educational opportunities occur outside of the traditional academic setting. The objectives of the St. Francis School Extended Day Program are to promote curiosity, fitness, creative and personal development, and the lifelong enjoyment of healthy challenge.
By offering extracurricular activities that extend the reach of the St. Francis program into the afternoon hours, the school hopes to provide students with safe, constructive situations for growth and play.
Enrichment Program, JK-4
The St. Francis School Enrichment Program covers a wide range of interests - featuring special interest clubs, cooking, arts and crafts, dancing, and hiking. Led by St. Francis art teacher Neisja Yenawine, these activities promote creative problem solving, socialization, communication skills, and, above all, fun! Enrichment takes place in our newly renovated Clubhouse space on the second floor of the Gym, and provides options for care until 6 p.m. The structure of the Enrichment Program follows the standards set forth by our mission statement.
Enrichment Program services may be paid in nine monthly installments beginning September 1, with the last payment on May 1. The monthly rates are based on regularly scheduled school days. Reservations for this program are on a first come, first served basis.
