Experience 64-acres of summer fun in Goshen during St. Francis School’s “Camp Curious” full and half-day camps. Open to ages Preschool through 8th grade, campers will explore, learn, and develop through small camp sizes and expert teachers, all in a safe and exciting environment. We focus on outdoor adventures including nature walks, a natural playground, garden time, and visits with our farm animals, among others!

“Camp Curious” Preschool Camps
Preschool half-day camps, open to ages 2-years-old to 5-years old, run Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with weekly themes guiding new experiences. Each week includes splash days where campers can cool off with sprinklers and water tables!

Session 1 – Get Outside & Grow ($165)
June 5th – 9th | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Campers will explore the outdoors by taking bug hikes and nature walks around campus. A few of our favorite places to visit are the pond, vegetable garden, and small animal enclosure that includes rabbits, kittens, chickens, and turkeys. We will make terrariums, critter keeper jars, and plant a butterfly garden!
Session 2 – The Doodle Days of Summer ($165)
June 12th – 16th | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Campers will use upcycled items for a unique artful experience. We will explore the colors of the rainbow with activities that include Pollack inspired drip paintings, Warhol inspired handprints, and recycled items to create a one-of-a-kind creation. All campers will need to bring a white t-shirt on the first day of camp for a tie-dye project!
Session 3 – Treasure Hunters ($165)
June 19th – 23rd | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Calling all explorers! Dino digs, pirates on the Ohio River, and scavenger hunts are on the horizon. Explorers will search for dinosaur fossils, rescue animals missing from the Preschool, and look for a hidden treasure!
Session 4 – Bubbles, Ice Cream, Goo ($165)
June 26th – 30th | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Bubbles, gak, slime, and ice cream! Your budding scientist will be on experiment overload as they learn to mix their own ingredients into summer fun!
- Morning snack will be provided each day.
- Your child will need to bring a healthy, nut-free lunch each day. Please send your child’s lunch in an insulated lunch box with an ice pack.
- We will spend most of our time outside, weather permitting. Please apply sunscreen on your child before arriving at camp.
- Please dress your child in play clothes, as most of our activities will be messy.

“Camp Curious” Day Camp ($225)
K – 8th Grade

Our Goshen Campus is the perfect spot for our “Camp Curious” Day Camp! Campers will experience 64-acres of summer fun through outdoor activities and field games, stimulating science and creative art activities, engineering and team-building challenges, music, games, and more! Campers will spend most of their time outside focusing on nature and physical activities. Camp Invention will take the place of “Camp Curious” Day Camp the week of June 26th – 30th. Camp is not in session on Tuesday, July 4th.
Art Made From Scratch ($195)
4th – 8th Grade

A DIY art camp that teaches campers how to create their own art supplies using historical methods largely from the Renaissance era. Projects will include making quill pens out of goose feathers, making black ink from walnuts, making our own paper from pulp, making chalk pastels from marble dust, and making our own egg tempera paint using real eggs and a selection of natural pigments. Safe practices will be stressed, and campers will learn about the historical context in which these methods were used by artists such as Michelangelo. The materials that we make, combined with the skills and techniques learned, will be put to use in simple life drawing sessions set in the picturesque Goshen Campus landscape. Pair this camp with a half-day of “Camp Curious” Day Camp for a full-day on the Goshen Campus ($225).
Lower School Musical Theater Camp ($225)
2nd – 4th Grade
June 12th – 16th | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
A crash course in theater for elementary students, this camp will give your child a chance to shine as they learn the ins and outs of preparing for a production. Campers cap off the week with a performance for family and friends. This year’s production is “When I Grow Up”.
A baker! A sailor! A cowboy! A movie star! Life offers so many choices for kids today. They are free to be whatever they choose to be! “When I Grow Up” explores these choices in today’s lingo for today’s kids. From a driving rock opener to a burly sailor chantey, a soft-shoe baker song to an ambling cowboy tune, this all-school revue lets kids explore a variety of occupations and careers through music.
Bricks 4 Kidz® ($180)
1st – 5th Grade

Bricks 4 Kidz® programs provide an extraordinary atmosphere for students to build unique creations, explore architecture and engineering, including famous buildings, motorized machines, and inventions, all while having fun using LEGO® bricks. The activities are designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations, build their self-confidence, and develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. Dungeons & Dragons ($195)
5th – 8th Grade

Are you brave enough to adventure into worlds with endless possibilities? Dungeons and Dragons is a tabletop game steeped in nearly five decades of tradition. It is a system for creating a combined narrative between multiple players, with rules and guidelines for determining whether one’s actions bring success or failure. Players are tasked with creating characters and using creativity, teamwork, and a wide assortment of skills to complete quests, win debates, and when all else fails, defeat foes in combat. From novice to master, all are welcome!
Outdoor Art Adventures ($195)
K – 3rd Grade

Campers will spend the day outside getting messy and making art with friends! Students will create projects such as handmade paper, fairy houses, Monet-inspired watercolor paintings, papier-mache and more, using natural materials from St. Francis School’s beautiful outdoor space. Camp Invention ($225)
K – 6th Grade

Since 1990, Camp Invention has taken summer fun and transformed it from ordinary to extraordinary! Our own faculty will lead a week of hands-on activities created especially for elementary school children. Boys and girls spend time building original prototypes using real tools and components found in everyday devices, playing high-energy games and so much more! Minecraft® Starters Camp ($195)
1st – 4th Grade

Minecraft® Camp is back this summer, and it’s prospecting for kids eager to learn, build and play! Each day will present a new building challenge, with guidance and tutorials provided for those new to the craft. Whether building, crafting, or exploring, campers will have ample opportunity to show their individuality and creativity. Minecraft® campers should bring a can-do attitude and a creative, cooperative mindset.
Gymnastics With Gymnastics Expressions ($175)
K – 5th Grade

Gymnastics Expressions’ program is intended to develop the child’s coordination, strength, flexibility, discipline, and self-confidence. Students will receive instruction on tumbling, vaulting, balance beam, rings, high bar, parallel bars, and low bar. Advancement from one level to the next is determined by mastery of specific skills. Upon registration, you will be required to fill out the waiver form.
Art Through The Ages ($195)
2nd – 5th Grade
July 10th – 14th | 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This art camp allows campers to learn about the history of art while making hands-on projects! We will learn about the ways that art changed through time, with fun and informative lessons, and by engaging in a variety of multi-media art activities that reflect different eras and cultures. On the first day, we will travel all the way back to the time of the earliest-known artists in Lascueax, France and create a collaborative cave painting! As the week goes by, we will continue to march through the centuries toward present day, designing life-size mummy sarcophogi, making Byzantine-style mosaics, exploring 19th-century Victorian photography methods, and making 20th century abstract art! Pair this camp with a half-day of “Camp Curious” Day Camp for a full-day on the Goshen Campus ($225).
Middle School Musical Theater Camp ($450)
5th – 8th Grade
July 10th – 21st | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Our most popular camp returns! Ideal for campers with a passion for theater, this intense two-week program encompasses everything necessary to produce this year’s musical. Campers will have the option to perform or work on the crew (rising 9th graders are eligible). This year’s production is Disney’s Aladdin JR and culminates in a production for family and friends.
Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin JR. is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.
