Ralph Marshall

Coach Marshall began his coaching career here at St. Francis in 2006 as assistant/goalie coach for the soccer team.  In 2010, Coach Marshall took over as the head coach of the soccer program.   He has taken several teams to the regional tournament.  Coach Marshall is also the Dean of Faculty beginning in 2014-15 and is a teacher in the History Department at St. Francis, teaching Culture and Civilization of the Ancient World to 9th graders and various history electives.

Coach Marshall has an extensive playing background.  He was MVP of his team at Annapolis Senior High School in Annapolis, MD.  He was a four-year varsity letterman at Dickinson College (’86-’89) and named MVP following his senior season.  While in college, his team traveled to Australia and played Australian universities and to Fiji to play the Fijian under-19 national team.  After college, he played on a traveling club team in Japan for two years and on organized teams in Spain and Turkey.

Coach Marshall and his wife Gul have a daughter, Ayda, who attends St. Francis.
