First Full Day Was “Awesome”

By Renee Hennessy, Preschool Director

Is it possible to have a first day of Preschool without a few tears?  Not really.  I did see a few parents wiping away tears from their eyes as they left the building.  On this side of the door, we had a fabulous “first day”!  Your children made new friends, read books, went to music class, played outside and as one four-year-old explained, “It was awesome!”  We know not all days will be “awesome”. Some days are harder than others, as it can take children up to six weeks to adjust to a new routine.  For now, we will enjoy the newness of the school year and celebrate our budding friendships.

Thank you for your patience as we transitioned to a new database over the summer.  We are still working through some of the details, so please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have a question. Remember to send in your child’s updated immunization forms.  Also, contracts for Early Morning, Lunch Bunch or Late Day need to be completed in the Parent Portal only if you are choosing one of the programs.

We are excited about our second year at the Goshen Campus!  There are just a few remaining slots available in the 2s and 3s classes.  It’s not too late to join us! Send your friends; our parents are always our best ambassadors!

If you stopped by the Back-to-School picnic and spent some time at the dunk tank, you may have seen Mr. David take an unwelcome swim.  Here are a few pictures in case you missed the fun!
