Middle School Math Teacher (G)
St. Francis School is a co-ed, non-denominational Independent School founded in the Progressive tradition. Our campuses are in two locations — Goshen (Preschool-8th Grade) and Downtown (High School). We are searching for a dynamic Middle School Math Teacher for the 2018-19 school year. The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS in a science or math-related field, as well as an MAT or an MA in a related field, a passion for working with Middle School students, a minimum of five years’ experience as a math instructor, an understanding of Independent Schools, and an awareness of differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential. Additional responsibilities may include homeroom/advisor duties and academic team coaching; the ability/willingness to coach athletic teams is a plus. Head Track & Field Coach (D)
St. Francis School, Downtown Campus, is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Track & Field Coach. This is a contract, 6-month reporting position beginning immediately and continuing through June 2018. The season begins late February and continues through May. The Head Track & Field Coach will be responsible for all phases of managing and directing a successful high school track & field program. Duties include scheduling, coaching, supervising an assistant coach, strength training and conditioning, and monitoring tracking equipment. Collegiate playing experience and 60 college credit hours are a prerequisite. A Bachelor’s degree and prior coaching experience is preferred. Head Varsity Baseball Coach (D)
St. Francis School, Downtown Campus, is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Varsity Baseball Coach. This is a contract, 6-month reporting position beginning January and continuing through June 2018. The Head Varsity Baseball Coach will be responsible for all phases of managing and directing a successful high school baseball program. Duties include coaching, supervising students, strength training and conditioning, tracking equipment, scheduling, and statistics. Collegiate playing experience is a plus, high school playing experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree and prior coaching experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Head Varsity Volleyball Coach (D)
St. Francis School, Downtown Campus, is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Varsity Volleyball Coach. This is a contract, 12-month reporting position beginning January 2017 and continuing through January 2018. The Head Varsity Volleyball Coach will be responsible for all phases of managing and directing a successful high school volleyball program. Duties include coaching, supervising students, strength training & conditioning, tracking equipment, scheduling and statistics. Collegiate playing experience is a plus, high school playing experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree and prior coaching experience is preferred. KHSAA and NFHS coaching certifications a plus. Assistant Girls Basketball Coach (D)
St. Francis School, Downtown Campus, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. Qualified applicants should have 1-3 years experience in coaching (preferably in high school). Experience working specifically with girls is a plus. This position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been located. Substitute Teacher (PS)
St. Francis School, Goshen Campus, has immediate openings for substitute teachers in the Preschool program. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred, but not required. Will consider a combination of relevant experience and education.
