The gift of learning without fear.

After speaking on the steps of the US Supreme Court yesterday in support of marriage equality alum Kinsey Morrison ’14 had this to say, “One final thought after an unforgettable day: I realized tonight that if my sisters and I went to any other schools, we might be really afraid to go back tomorrow. St. Francis and Stanford have both given me the gift of learning without fear, one I too often take for granted when I forget how long I lived without it and how many people still do.” Thank you Kinsey and very well done!

Web design/development Intern

St. Francis School is seeking an energetic, intelligent, independent intern to complete a 4-6 week project.  This is a paid internship. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the following areas:

• WordPress development

• Experience with Genesis framework is a plus

• Responsive web design

• PHP, CSS, jQuery, Javascript

• SEO and Google Analytics

The focus of the project will be to update the content and design of the school’s website (within the approximate parameters of the existing design). Primary goals will be:

• Develop and implement a consistent and intuitive organizational structure

• Evaluate and possibly update the stylistic elements of the site (typography, backgrounds, etc.)

• Fix functional problems

• Adapt the current design to be responsive for mobile devices.
